• What’s the difference between a pole dock and a floating dock?

  A pole dock is designed for shallow water and is supported by posts anchored to the lakebed. It must be fully removed in the fall and reinstalled in the spring.

  A floating dock, on the other hand, rests on floats and naturally adjusts to changes in water levels. It’s the ideal solution for deep water areas. Floating docks are easy to handle, and their storage is simple.

• What is the lifespan of your products and what warranties do you offer?

  An aluminum dock offers an almost unlimited lifespan: aluminum is rustproof, and we provide a 20-year structural warranty.

  Plastic surfaces, which are non-heat conductive, UV-resistant, and anti-slip, are also covered by a 20-year warranty.

  Red cedar has an average lifespan of around 10 years, depending on maintenance and usage conditions.

  Sealed floats, filled with high-density expanded polystyrene, come with a 15-year warranty.

• How can I purchase your products?

  You can purchase our products in-store for simple pickup. You can also take advantage of our delivery option or choose a turnkey service that includes full installation of your project.

• How can I reserve my dock?

  You can place your order by calling one of our representatives or by visiting us in-store.

  A deposit will be required to secure your project. This deposit guarantees your delivery, installation, or pickup date, and locks in the current price until the final payment at the end of the project.

• Do I need a permit to install a dock?

  In most cases, yes, a permit is required.

  Dock installations must comply with municipal regulations and the requirements of the MELCCFP (Ministry of the Environment). Municipalities may also have their own rules regarding dimensions, materials, and placement.

  We strongly recommend checking with your municipality to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
